Help - Printing

whatever programme you are printing from you have to make sure that you are printing to the correct size of paper - A4 or A3 - and to the right format - Portrait or Landsacpe.

Do this in the page setup dialogue - you can also set the specific printer here. In most cases this will be the HPCLJ8550

Beacuse this is a laser printer it may well take a while to warm up - please don't stand in front of it and wait, there are too many breakables in the little office - let me know that you are printing, do somthing else for a while, then come and ask me for you prints.

In Photoshop it is best to use the print with preview dialoge (Alt Apple P) and go to page setup from there - you can the use the fit to page checkbox, or the percentage box, or simply drag the image to size using the drag handles (if the image is smaller than the paper size that you have chosen)

Don't forget - before you press the final print button, make sure you are printing at the right size and to the right printer!
